RESO SUN 12 ACOUSTIC RESONATOR GUITAR

NEEDS INTRO

What do you get when you cross the shimmer and jangle of a 12-string with the brassy bark of a resonator guitar? The sound of Versoul’s Reso Sun 12 Acoustic Resonator Guitar, a sound distinctly its very own. Making that possible is a body of top tone woods (a two-piece solid European spruce top and the choice of either East Indian rosewood or European curly maple back and sides) augmenting the bold voice of a National-style cone. A fingerboard of East Indian rosewood on a neck of Finnish aspen and maple insures optimal playability. Having expertly covered utility and sound, Versoul also makes sure the instrument’s appearance is on the same high level. A sleek Versoul tailpiece of East Indian rosewood and a laminated birch veneer gold leaf-plated resonator coverplate with `sunbeam’ soundholes are just two of many cool design touches that blend modern Scandinavian style with the funky Mojo of the resonator guitar. Options available include a steel cover plate with laser cut soundholes depicting ancient Finnish shamans; Versoul’s unique Rattlenator percussion device (see the ResoSun 6 entry for details); a transducer AKG C411PP contact condenser microphone.
